San Fransisco de Asis

from $20.00
Here's another artistic journey outside my usual Minnesota subjects. My brother and his wife live in Taos NM and over the decades visiting them I've often visited this picturesque adobe church, the San Francisco de Asis, famed for its ginormous buttresses and twin bell towers. It was built between 1772 and 1816 and is widely considered one of the most photographed and painted churches in America, so here's my shot. It was a fun challenge with its rounded edges and sculptural details. I hope I've captured the softness and simplicity of San Francisco de Asis.

Museum-quality prints made on thick matte paper.

• Paper weight: 189 g/m²
